One man's trash in another man's treasure

Today was a smelly, dusty, eye gritting, spider chasing, junk removal day. Junk King showed up to haul away all of the junk stuck in the garage. The two men worked exceptional hard and fast, but it got all done in about 3 hours. Afterwards I was kapoot (South African word meaning exhausted).
Not to worry though, I was told that all the metal would be recycled, and the rest of the junk would be sorted through and whatever could be reused and donated would find a good home. The assistive devices (toilets, walkers, etc) will find a good home. One of my friends is an occupational therapist, and will be distributing those to whomever needs it the most.
Now, I'm off to the shower, and nice meal and a soft bed. Can't wait to get to put my feet up. One step closer to getting this house flipped, and moving on to the next.
Cheers
Linda
