Alcatraz!

We just purchased this beauty as our next flip! Its a 3 bed, 2.5 bath house in the Brookwood school district, that's been sitting empty for 10 years, and that needs A LOT of love! We're calling it Alcatraz, because walking into the basement feels like walking into a dungeon, and its a play on the street name.
The interesting thing about this property is, that the previous owner used to run a book-selling business out of it, and they left behind over 1000 books. My cleanup crew is busy boxing all the books, and next week I'll be delivering them all in a U-Haul truck to Half Priced Books in Decatur, to make some extra cash for the flip.
It's a much larger project than my last flip, but houses in that area are going for close to $400k, so it is worth the risk and we should make a nice return on investment.
Can't wait to watch the diamond in the rough transform into a beauty! Will continue to post photos here at the blog and on Facebook.
As always I'm nervous, and asking myself "What was I thinking?" but then remind myself the Lord is in control, not me, and I need to surrender to Him daily. He is the one that guides me, and in His footsteps I will follow.
